KPMG Data Analytics Consulting Virtual Intern

In this position, I participated in an open access internship program provided by KPMG. I "consulted" Sprocket Central Pty Ltd, which is an actual client of KPMG. Through the program, I learned how to go through Tableau, perform a data quality assessment, and guide the company in marketing decisions by narrowing down a target group.

Rush Order Tees, Sales Intern

Rush Order Tees is a customer printing company. As a sales intern, I interacted with customers and helped resolve any issues they were having. I helped edit their t-shirt design and add details, depending on their vision, using the company's applications. I also helped them place orders, if it was within my range, otherwise I would transfer them to a better suited representative. All interactions were logged in the database that the company used - Salesforce.

Dollar Tree, Cashier

I assisted customers in finding the items that they were looking for. Along with my team, I helped make sure that store was obstacle free, products were clearly visible, and new products were in the aisles as soon as possible. When needed, I also helped ring customers, aiming to speed up the process and have the customers exit as soon as possible.

Career Wardrobe

Career Wardrove is a nonprofit boutique that helps prepare individuals in going back to work. They conduct various events throughout the year, which include resume workshops, networking opportunities, and fundraisers. I work under the database coordinator. I reach out to various organizations when we have a fundraiser coming up to see if they would like to provide items for us to auction. I log donor information, since the clothes in the boutique are donated, in the database, making sure to keep all donations under the same account if the person donated again.
