NBA GREATS

The Greatest Basketball Players of All Time

1.Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan is widely considered to be the greatest basketball player of all time. This isn't without reason, as the amount of evidence supporting this claim is astonishing. He is a 14x allstar and defensive player of the year, along with 5 MVPS, 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS, AND 10 SCORING TITLES. A player possessing this many accolades is unheard of. The man threepeated TWICE as well to get those 6 rings. In his most prolific scoring season, he averaged 37.1 points per game and played all 82 games. And that is only one season out of many incredible offensive showcases, both in the regular season and postseason. He played good enough defense to be considered the best in the league while also being the most talented offensive player of all time. He denied many other all time greats from ever winning a championship, along with consistently elevating his game when criticized so that he would be flawless.

2.Lebron James
Lebron James is my pick for the second best basketball player of all time. He is the best player of this generation by a fairly large margin due to his ability to lead a team as well as carry the offensive load. Not only is he a fantastic scorer, he is one of the best passers of all time, allowing his teammates to get good opportunities to score. He is a 4x MVP, 15x Allstar, and 3x champion. He has been to the finals 9 times in his career, 8 of which were consecutive years. He hasn't suffered any major injuries his entire career and still manages to force his way into the paint in a way only Shaquille O'Neal in his prime could match.

3.Kareem Abdul Jabbar
When the greats are discussed, Kareem Abdul Jabbar has to be in the conversation. If not for his prime then for his longevity. In one of his most dominant seasons, he averaged 35 points per game along with almost 17 rebounds. He is known for his unguardable sky hook, which made defense difficult for his opponents. His most impressive feat, though, was his longevity. He played 20 seasons in the nba, good for the second longest nba career ever. He was an allstar for 19 of these seasons, along with 6 MVPs, 6 rings, and two scoring titles. He also holds the record for most career points.
