My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is an animated series based on My Little Pony franchise.
It has a total of 9 seasons, and the setting is at a magical land called Equestria. Every
pony has a cutie mark, a picture-like symbol that represents a pony's talent. There's 4
types of ponies: earth pony (no horns or wings), pegasus (with wings), unicorn (a horn and
has magical power), and alicorn pony (both horn and wings, strong magical power, and rare).
StoryLine
The series begins with a pony named Twilight Spakle, a student of Princess Celestia (ruler of
Equestria). The princess sends Twilight and her baby dragon assistant, Spike, to a village
called Ponyville to learn about the magic of friendship. At Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle
becomes friend with 5 different ponies: Applejack, Raindbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and
Rarity. Together, they overcome challenges, solve problems, go on adventures, and learn about
the magic of frienship.
Main Characters
Twlight Sparkle:
An academically intelligent alicorn pony (originally unicorn) with a light violet body.
She loves studying and is the central main character. She's also one of the princesses
of Equestria. Her spirit represents the element of magic.
Applejack:
An athletic and incredibly strong (her special power) orange earth pony. She comes from
a big family who manages farms, apple orchards, and businesses at Sweet Apple Acres and
is incredibly strong. Her spirit represents the element of honesty.
Rainbow Dash:
A brave and bold (sometimes mischievous and proud) pegasus pony with a light blue body.
She's athletic like Applejack and has the ability of speed and clearing clouds to
maintain the weather. Her spirit represents the element of loyalty.
Pinkie Pie:
A funny and talkative (sometimes air-headed) pink earth pony. She likes to play, party,
sing, and prank. Every time when there's a party, ceremony, festival, or special event,
she'll be in charge of baking cake and/or setting up the event. She has a strange
ability to predict the future when her body suddenly twitches or has an involuntary
motion. Her spirit represents the element of laughter.
Fluttershy:
A timid yellow pegasus with pink hair. She takes care of animals and has the ability to
communicate with them. Her spirit represents the element of kindess.
Rarity:
A stylish white unicorn with purple hair. She's a fashion designer and likes attention.
Her spirit represents the element of generosity.
Spike:
A baby purple and green dragon. He's Twlight's assistant and best friend and has a
crush on Rarity.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girl
My Little Pony: Equestria Girl is a movie and a media franchise. It's a spin-off of
My Little Pony franchise. The setting of this movie is at a high school in the human
world. In this world, there's a human version of every pony from Equestria. The movie
starts of with a pony named Sunset Shimmer who steals the crown of Twilight Sparkle,
element of magic. Without the crown, other elements of harmony won't have the power to
protect Equestria. To get the crown back, Twilight Sparkle follows Sunset Shimmer who
disappears into a mirror that leads to a human world. When she enters this world, she
transform into a human, and Spike becomes a talking dog. With the help of her friends
who resemble her pony friends from Equestria, Twlight Sparkle wins the Princess of Fall
Formal and gets her crown back.
