Hi, my name is Andrew Hearn! I was born in Northeast Philadelphia, on May 24, 1999, and
I have lived here in Philly all my life, attending Catholic Grade School all the way through
High School. Throughout Highschool, I participated in our Robotics Club, and that is where I began to develop an interest in coding and
developing with other individuals on various projects. I never get tired of seeing a completed project or vision come to fruition piece by
piece through a team's effort and collaboration. Thankfully I have been fortunate enough to attend Temple University, where,
about a year or so ago, I finally declared as an IST Major (money was, and still is tight). Temple University has been an interesting
experience the whole time, especially now, given the worldwide pandemic and how it has impacted all of us, but we'll make it through this
difficult chapter. Zoom calls are the norm now but soon we'll be back in person!
When it comes to my hobbies and interest, I am a very big movie person.
I can go on and on for hours talking about some franchise's music, or setpieces, or how the director did this one thing, or
how they filmed that one scene...etc. Either way you get the idea, I can be a bit overbearing with it at times but overall it's
a seriously big interest of mine. The other thing I do, specifically here at Temple, although right now it's difficult and has been postponed due to events out of my
or anyone's control, is fencing. When I was a freshman I saw the stand for it at Temple Fest, and decided to give it a try. Honestly, I think it's the best social
decision I have made at Temple University, I have met great people, made great friends, and did it all the while getting a really good workout! Other
things I have an interest in periodically, although I can't go too crazy with them, are video games, some television shows, and model making when possible.
