Background

My name is Frank Gatto and I was born and raised in South Philadelphia. I am an Information Science & Technology major at Temple University. I was originally a Computer Science major but decided to switch to IS&T because I preferred the IS&T courses.

Projects

Some of the projects I've worked on are:

• Twitch Alert Handler - I built a JavaScript program to be used with the social media website Twitch that updates and modifies an HTML document in real time based on responses from a web API. It keeps track of all new followers, subscribers, donations, etc. It also can be used to update specific goals like subscriber amounts.
• Tetris Game - I am currently in the early stages of creating my own spin on a Tetris game. I will be using the Unity game engine and programming in C#.

Career Aspirations

I have many interests so I could see myself going down multiple career paths. My dream career would be a game developer, but the field is difficult to make a decent living in and the working conditions are generally poor. I would also like to be a software engineer or a web developer.
